Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor, producer and director. Most well-known for his role as Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. His role on the television series has brought him numerous awards, nominations and accolades. They include the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was raised in New Brunswick in the state of New Jersey. He attended college in the United States. Rutgers University was his next step. Once he realised the potential for his acting skills to lead to a successful career, he chose to drop out. The popular American TV soap Another World was his first TV part. He played the lead in Wolf Lake, a CBS TV show two years after. When he was cast in the character of Stefan Salvatore for the American popular TV series The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. He has been directing episodes of the popular series. Since when he first made his debut in film with The Last Run, he's seen in numerous well-known films. His most recent performances as an actor in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer were in support parts. His social media popularity is quite high, with an impressive 13 million followers on Instagram as well as more than 4.1,000,000 users on Twitter.
